Bike Advocacy

Corporate Citizenship is a key component to the Sportworks business model. We have been working hand-in-hand with advocates all over the country for many years.

Because we have been involved with every aspect of bike-on-bus programs, from advocacy, legislation, sourcing of federal funds, marketing, safety, maintenance and the general operations of a bike on bus program in just about every imaginable transit environment, we regularly consult with transit agencies, community groups and advocates regarding their multi-modal needs.

Sportworks is a proud sponsor and member of the following organizations: Cascade Bicycle Club, Bicycle Alliance of Washington, California Bicycle Coalition, Thunderhead Alliance, League of American Bicyclists, American Public Transportation Association, Canadian Urban Transportation Association, and the Bikes Belong Coalition.

Sportworks holds board seats at the League of American Bicyclists and at the Bikes Belong Coalition. Sportworks also attends the National Bicycle Summit every year in Washington, DC, to join other cyclists in raising awareness about bicycle related legislative issues.
