The Sportworks Bike-Rack-for-Buses is the most proven and widely used bike rack in the transit industry. Designed by cyclists, the innovative Sportworks bike rack design overcomes most challenges of combining bicycles with mass transit. Route schedules are not affected as the self-storing support arms allow for extremely quick loading and unloading of the bicycles. The rack holds all bicycles independently and in the same manner, even children’s bicycles. The rack will not scratch bicycles as all points of contact between the bicycle and the rack are on the bicycle’s tires. The rack is very easy to maintain because the design is simple and has a minimum of moving parts. Overall, the Sportworks Bike-Rack-for-Buses is simple, affordable, and extremely fast.

The patented bike rack’s main function is to retain the bicycles by way of our unique support arm assembly and wheel hoops. Available in mild or stainless steel with a variety of finishes, these racks prove to be a very durable and value-added addition to your fleet.	This provides the mounting and pivot point for the bike rack. Its primary function is to allow the rack to be easily and securely deployed or stowed. There are two sizes or pivot plate assemblies available, fitted to the rack you use.
3. Bumper Mounting Brackets Our plethora of mounting brackets form the backbone of our adaptable mounting system. We make virtually all shapes and sizes designed for secure, reliable custom fit on any vehicle you intend on using. 4. Bolt Kit These kits include the hardware to attach the mounting brackets to the vehicle bumper and insure a fast and correct installation. 5. Install Kit For some bumpers, we have an installation kit available. These kits include the necessary drilling templates and some unique tools for a precise installation every time.
